And so I kind of circled back to my initial love of the story and the character. The ending to this book, has me torn. She was like, there doesnt seem to be a religious system of any sort. HW: Well, its funny, because people have not many, but Ill see like tweets where theyre talking about the book, and you know, whatever. Youll definitely see like the tie ins if youre if youre a Twitter fan, youll see the Woolsey the Cromwell, the Henry Catherine of Aragon, like youll see all those people, but very much in a different setting. And like a couple hours later, it had like, 10s of 1000s of views. All goes well until circumstance wakes Aurora, and from here the plot twists and weaves in unpredictable and occasionally infuriating ways as Alyce and Aurora, along with the Dark Court, work through relationship and political issues that seem insurmountable. I loved the Imps and their cheeky ways, whilst I can imagine they would be irritating they have a way of winning everyone over. And so how theres something there, theres something else there. So instead of it being Briar with all of their hierarchy and the magic system and the corruption, theyve decided that theyre basically going to create this like evil commune and live in the ruins of the palace. And can we even define it? One thing that I strove for was you really cant rely on any one character to be any one way, like everybody at some point or other kind of goes off in their own direction. Once I can get it like on the page, and its all great, its not just a mess. I read Malice in one sitting. And no one will escape the consequences of her wrath. The first was depressing and angsty - the main character was flawed and a abused and broken - but there was some HOPE to it. They can turn almost any bit of rock, wood, or material into a feast. Great book. So much, instead of like any number of colorful like expletives that she could use, I generally try to get creative when it comes to expressing my frustrations, although I feel like its like, it adds like color to the situation, like when youre just feeling ugh, although mine usually involve food, I feel like theres a lot of like fudge, and like biscuits, and like cheese and crackers in my vocabulary, so I just want to know what were thinking when youre writing that when youre like, This is going to be her go to school, shes angry. They all shunned and scorned Alyce once, but now, she is feared, respected, and that has given Alyce some satisfaction, but has also created a new problem for her. And really, its funny, because you think like, oh, people get really, really mad about something they lash out. . So I have to ask, Where did this story start? And it and I loved how you were like, huh, not so fast. HW: The very first bark I think, that I got from Malice was probably watching the Disney movie, The Sleeping Beauty animated one.
